Vision Communication Services files for bankruptcy

Dallas-based Vision Communication Services Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The company listed estimated assets of $500,001 to $1 million against debts of $1 million to $10 million, according to court papers filed Monday at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Creditors include Greenville, S.C.-based Q-west, which is owed $1.4 million. Other creditors are Symbio Tech of Phoenix, which is owed $700,000, and Denver-based Level 3 Communications, owed $600,000. Global Crossing of Cincinnati is owed $450,000 and Richardson-based Datavon is owed $274.683.
